Safeguarding Children is Everyone's Responsibility

The safety, welfare and wellbeing of the children in our care are our highest priorities.

A Culture of Professional Curiosity

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and is embedded throughout our daily practice. Our staff are encouraged to maintain professional curiosity, remain alert to anything that may cause concern, and always raise and share concerns with our safeguarding leads: Andri Kyriakidou, Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and Christos Kyriakidis, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL). It is also part of how we recruit and train our team, plan the nursery day and greet families each morning — every member of our team shares responsibility for children's safety and knows how to act on a concern.

Some of the areas our safeguarding practice covers.

Safer Recruitment

Children's Wellbeing
