What this website stores, and the choices you have.

The Short Version

With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how the site is used — for example which pages are visited and how visitors engage with them. Analytics cookies are off by default and are only ever used if you choose to accept them. We do not use analytics, or any cookies, for advertising or marketing.

Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics 4)

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept or reject analytics cookies. The two choices are equal, and nothing is tracked until you accept.

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets a small number of cookies so we can see overall website usage — page views and general engagement. This helps us keep the website useful for families.

Your choice is remembered in your browser so you are not asked on every visit.

What Else We Store On Your Device

Your language choice, saved in your browser's local storage so the site stays in the language you selected. This is a preference you set yourself, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Your cookie consent choice, saved so the site remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies.
Standard, short-lived technical data needed to serve the pages securely. No profile of you is built.

The Map On Our Contact Page

Our Contact page can show a Google map. Because loading it would allow Google to set cookies on your device, we do not load it automatically — you will see a placeholder with our address and a button to load the map. If you prefer not to, the address and a link to Google Maps are always available instead.

Fonts

Our page fonts are requested from Google Fonts. This transmits your IP address to Google in order to deliver the font files, but sets no cookies and does not track you across websites.

Managing Cookies

You can accept, block or delete cookies and clear local storage at any time through your browser settings, and you can change your analytics choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
