Our enquiry and visit forms ask for the details we need in order to reply to you and arrange a visit.
All questions other than your name, email address and contact number are optional at enquiry stage. Please do not include detailed medical, dietary, religious or other sensitive information in a website enquiry — we will ask for anything we genuinely need, securely and directly, if your child joins us.
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, answer your questions, arrange a visit and discuss the availability of a place. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have contacted us about a nursery place and expect a reply. We do not use your enquiry to send marketing, and we never sell or share your details for marketing purposes.
When you submit a form, the details pass through our website hosting and email delivery providers so they can be delivered to the nursery's own mailbox. The information is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We do not keep a copy of your enquiry in the website database; it exists only in the email sent to us. Our email delivery provider keeps a short-term technical delivery record (timestamp, recipient address and message ID, but not the enquiry content) for a limited period in order to confirm delivery.
Because no copy is held on the website, the enquiry exists only in the nursery mailbox. It is kept only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any place we offer. Where an enquiry does not lead to a place, we delete it once the conversation has clearly ended, and in any event within 12 months. Records for children who join us are then kept under the nursery's retention policy.
We do not share your enquiry with anyone outside the nursery, except where we are required to by law or where there is a safeguarding duty to share information with Harrow Council, the police or another statutory partner. Our website hosting and email providers act as our processors under contract and may not use your information for their own purposes.
Our website hosting and email delivery infrastructure is not exclusively UK-based, so your information may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens it is protected by the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law, such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
This website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are not stored in the browser or on the website server, and access to the nursery mailbox is restricted to the leadership team and administrators who need it. We do not use any third-party form, marketing or advertising service on this website.
Under UK GDPR you may ask us for a copy of your information; ask us to correct or delete it; ask us to restrict or object to how we use it; and ask us to transfer it. We will respond within one month.
